Parts of speech – All the words of English are divided into eight groups according to its form and function they do in a sentence. Each group is called parts of speech.

                                There are eight kinds of parts of speech –

A.      Noun

B.      Pronoun

C.       Adjective

D.      Verb

E.      Adverb

F.       Preposition

G.      Conjunction

H.      Interjection
